Oh, The Humanity

Vancouver, BC - April 2006
Perhaps some of us can be as sarcastic as we are because we live in such a gullible society. We are but fools. We are always selling ourselves whether we know it or not. We are always being sold to.
Your hair looks great. (sell)
You think so? Thanks. I like it too. (sold)
What are you up to today?
Shopping. (sold)
The birth control pill is giving people cancer.

Southern Interior BC - April 2006
I sit in a hotel room and play online poker sometimes. I win money sitting on my ass and clicking a button or two. It disturbs me. What else should I be doing when I'm stuck in traffic? Where should we be? Why do I have to wait for something to happen in order to act?
There are people dying everywhere who would love my $5 entry fee.

On top of mountain, BC - April 2006
My head is a fragile thing. It gets knocked around a little and everything will change. This place called hell will be a heaven.
Heaven (sold). Hell (sold). Evil (sold). Santa (sold). Tooth Fairy (sold). Education (sold). Work (sold).
The hospitals are overcrowding and the doctors are getting frustrated. Patients are complaining.

Christina Lake, BC - April 2006
Take away everything you've been told. Just be the raw animal and information gatherer you are. No bias. No past experience to base current decisions on.
Just awful.

Purgatory Is As Fun As You Want It To Be
Background Music Video: Seasons In The Sun
I never had my morning coffee until I entered the work force. Someone shoot me so I can find some meaning.
They say: I should get a bike because it is my choice. I should live below my means. I should eat less. By choice. Soon it will be forced upon me though.
Someone from the future tells you what is going to happen and woes me oh noes. Every six seconds the HIV. Someone else has cancer. Someone else is dying. They wept when they saw all the excess in the superstore they walked into. The air is clean or it is not. They looked me in eye and said, "I thought you died alone. A long long time ago." Who knows?
Back to the future - someone tells you something. First thing they ask you is what can we do to stop it? Prove it. Funny thing is that we already know what to do but we don't do it anyway.
Proceed. Intermission is over.

Bacteria
What's the difference between many of us and yogurt?
The yogurt has culture.
Drink. Computer. Movie. Drink. Drugs. TV. Drink. Drink. Drink.
